I have 8 connections right now to a D*-provided Zinwell WB68, but those switches sell for less than $100.
The WB616, necessary for more than 8 connections in a Ku/Ka system, is about $379 and I would say they are pretty rare.
Problem is, as I understand it, cascading will work right now on Ku birds, and a lot of people will be wondering later why they can't get the new Ka satellites.
Thanks for your info, too, Earl. I'm thinking about adding HD to a second TV. The easy and cheap way would be to take a lead off one of my R15s and just use one tuner in it.
