If I connect my over the air antenna will I be able to use my DVR functions on my HR20 before my install on Sept. 4th? I just had spinal surgery and it takes me a while to get up and go do something (bathroom) and I would hate to miss a great play during tomorrow’s games.
Will HR20 DVR functions work before Movers Connection install?

i believe since you have the unit turned off you wont be able to without a sat signal first.
if you had a sat signal then it was lost and you never turned off power to the unit then you could watch some recorded programs.
im saying this because i lost power and sat signal for a while. power cam back on and the dvr would not boot until it had a sat signal.
