I just ordered 2 more receivers(HR21 & R16) today for an install this Saturday morning. I already have a HR21 so I'm gonna need a multiswitch(i think?) and a 8 inch flat coax. Will I have to pay extra for these 2 items or is it included with installation? The D* CSR wasn't sure and told me to call my install company to find out.

I just wanted to get some info from you guys before I call and talk to them.

The multi-switch no, it is not extra. The flat cable is another story. I rather doubt the tech carries any with him. It might be advised to purchase one and maybe, with a nice tip, the installer will put it in for you.

Yeah even though it seems that flat cables are back on the approved lists few warehouse or tech carry them and most likely will tell you they are not approved.

Have the tech add the switch to the work order, also he should have flat cable in his truck since directech will most likely do the job(switch and flat cable should be free).

The D* CSR gave me the # to Michigan Micro Tech. Is Directech the same company as them?
