I get 0's across the board for 99c. Will running through satellite setup on my HR20 by chance get it working. My levels on the other sat's are in the 90's typically.

Could I cause harm in running through the setup (I've have never played with it)?

I have a call scheduled for next Wed, but if I can fix it sooner myself...

what about signals for 101, 110, and 119 (<<some will be zero). Mid 90's or better for the most part?

Can you get to your dish easily?

yeah, I get good signal on all but 99c. I can get to the dish with a ladder. I was wondering if going through the sat set menu would do the trick.

you can try it, no harm done in running the sat setup. I think your issue might be somewhere else though.

wasn't sure if I could mess something up inn sat setup. Others have mentioned re-alignment, typically an increase in elevation worked.

could be a re-alignment. I would start there. Just seems weird your other sat signals are pretty good. One would expect to see at least some low numbers on the 99c vs. all zeros. Do you have a multiswtich?

yep, never a problem until they moved some channels to the new sat (99)

If you're getting 90's on everything including 103c I highly doubt it's an alignment issue.

Have you just tried a restart? Do that, do a restart thru the menu's and see if that helps. Then maybe satellite setup if that doesn't work.

Before you do even that, do you get in ESPN HD on 206? Or HDNet movies up around 550 or wherever it was moved? If you do then you are getting a signal from 99c, just not showing up in the signal test and I wouldn't really worry about it unless you are getting no signal when tuning a channel.

no 206 anymore (771 message), did a reset (menu), rbr, even pulled the plug and waited several minutes before plugging back in.

Is it possible that he could have a problem with the BBC's for only 99 and nothing else?

I've swapped the bbc's from one tuner to the other, still no love.

I'd say it's a bad LNB at this point if 103 is working fine.

I'm having similar issue with my H20 and HR20, in my setup the 99 (c)/(a) is showing all 0's for every transponder. Additionally, 103 SAT is also all 0's, mind you DTV was just at my house on Tuesday and all was just fine then...came home today and ch. 206 was a big fat 771. All my other SATS are in the mid 90's, so I got a call in for the install company to come back out. So at teh moment I have no MPEG4 HD all my locals are gone too, so I'm stuck on only what's on MPEG2 for HD and SD to watch anything locally....

I have the sidecar dish, maybe it's time for a realignment or even a new dish altogether

bad multiswitch. After the re-aligned the dish, then replaced the dish, re-aligned the replacement dish, offered to change out my HR-20 (for a HR-21, I told him NO) and 4-1/2 hours. I left work to and got home and asked if he checked the multiswitch. Never crossed his mind. He replaced it with 1 off his truck and now everythings good.

Don't have any trees in or around the left side of the dish block 99 do you? Wasp nest in the LNB on the 99 side? Checked channel 482 and 483?

nope, once the 6x8 was replaced with a new one, 99 came right up. Got a my ESPN MP4 back (ch. 206)
