It will be pro-rated for the portion of the month, it will show on the next bill and you don't pay until that bill comes due.
Will upgrading to 250 package on dish website result in a charge right away?
I am currently on the 200 right now and want to upgrade to the 250 through the programming page on the dish website. Will I get charged right at that moment I submit or will it wait til my current monthly due date to do it?

When you make changes to your bill you are charged prorated fees from the day you change your services until the end of your billing cycle.
