I have what I think is a pretty quick question but for some reason I've been unable to get the search function to run this morning - not sure if its an office firewall thing or not.

Looking to buy a wireless adapter to hook up my HR21 to my router. Nothing fancy, just something that will work. Will possible have an XBOX 360 in the future so if it was able to take two inputs that would be great - but not necessary.

I assume this is something that can be just picked up at a place like Best Buy? Specific brands/models appreciated.

A good wireless adapter is the Linksys WGA600N.

So the Linksys WGA600N hooks up to the HR21?
It's an Ethernet bridge, just a way to wirelessly plug your HR21 into your router. The HR21 connects to it with a standard Ethernet cable. You set up the WGA600N with a static IP and let your router dynamically assign an IP to the HR21. Lots of threads on the subject.

The HR21s have two ports on them one can be used as a pass thru port to connect the XBOX only need one adapter for both the HR21 and XBOX to connect to net.

I recently switched from the powerline to the WRT610N with the dual band gaming adapter. I set up the wireless for my new laptop and decided to hook the DVR also to it. The powerline worked great but I am getting faster times from the WRT610N. The HR21 has a ethernet out which I daisy chain to my Xbox 360 so you only need the one connection.

The powerline was the cheaper option and was a very easy setup. I still use this to my DVR upstair.

I have a Linksys WGA600N and it works great for everything (VOD, interactive, games) but Media Share is totally unreliable. I am running Intel Viiv v. 1.7 on VISTA Ultimate. It is no better than WMP11 or Tversity.
