If you only have a 622 then you only need 2 inputs and if he used a separator, you only need one coax from the Dish 1000.4 going to a separator at your 622. I have two 722s and the installer only needed 2 coax cables from the Dish 1000 to connect these two receivers using separators.
Wiring diagram needed for a 1000.4 WA LNB
I have a 1000.4 WA dish. The installer connected 3 of the 4 cables from the LNB but left one unconnected. I looked at the LNB yesterday but there was no labeling on the LNB to differentiate between the 3rd output and the 4th input. I have a suspicion that the installer used the input as the 3rd wire.
