I will admit that my HR20 has been pretty solid as I've only had a few bad recordings in almost 4 months, but tonight's bug rea;;y pisses me off. I set the unit to record the National Championship game and nothing. Weird thing is it still shows in my todo list for yesterday, nothing in the history. WTF??

I figured that, but have you ever seen something in the past show up in the to do list? That's a first for me.

I have had this happen twice. We were away for four days and the dvr cancelled all my recordings: two were still in the to do list even though the day had passed. I did a reset and they disappeared.

I upgraded last night to 0x115, but I watched the start of the game in HD. There were definitely times when the system would NOT respond as I predicted. Many, but not all of the Trick Play functions were simply not responding. Some worked - I could press the PLAY button to get the timeline bar to popup or go away, but not much else. I got out of this problem by changing the channel and coming back. However, I fully expected it to mess up again after being on the channel for a short period.

It is possible that this type of problem is what caused the recording to fail. I've left my HR20 on ESPN-HD since last night and hope to check sometime today to see if it is locked up (as I'm sure it would have been in 0x10b).

Doug, I left mine on ESPN HD last night for the same reason. No problems so far, but I'll be keeping it there. (Not a problem since that what I normally have one while monitoring the forums, mail, etc. And usually the last thing I watch before quitting for the day.)

Yes, I do feel much better today knowing it wasn't much of a game, but I would have been major pissed if it turned out to be another Boise State Oklahoma type of a game.
