I have a 771 message on both WWOR and WPIX, channel 9 and 11 in the NY area. My signal strengths are excellent, all 90 and above and the connections are fine. Guess a call is in order to find out what is going on.

I called and the person I spoke with said there were no known issues with those channels. Had me go through the usual routine with receiver resets, etc. No luck.

Those are the only two channels not coming in for me.

I'm sure DirecTV will fix it by then....did I say I'm sure......I hope they fix it by then!

I would suggest calling and letting them know, most likely you'll get put through to tech support and you can let them know the situation. I told the lady there that everything was good on my end and I know that others are experiencing the same problem. She said there were no reports of the outage but she was going to pass it along to those that can look into and fix it. So call if you have not, make sure they know it's a widespread issue so they get on it !

Also having the same issues. But I am also missing ESPN and quite a few other channels. I'm thinking there are issues with the new sat. My signals on 99c are really poor.

I have the same thing here on my HR20-100. Even tried a reboot - No change. However my old SD TiVo T60 in the Family room tunes them just fine.

Not that much on NY9 & NY11 that I care to watch these days, but hope they get it figured out.

So if DirecTV Tech Support won't listen, how do we get someone to help us? Maybe SatelliteRacer or one the mods has a contact who can look into the problem.

I called them about 11:50AM & their tech support told me that they had no reports of this issue yet til I brought it to their attention.They were going to send the issue to their broadcast center operations.I find their answer a bit fishy !

I called them, spent 15 min on the phone with tech support. I am having trouble with those channels and ESPN and ESPN2 and some others. Believe it or not, they sending a tech on Wed to take a look

I don't know if a service call is the answer, unless your signals are low. My signal strength is excellent here and I cannot get 9 and 11 as I said in previous posts. This seems like an issue that is on their end that looks to have started this morning. Unless there was some transponder movement and they put those stations onto a transponder that we aren't getting a good signal on ? Not sure if that's possible, just guessing.

People need to let them know it's something widespread, as I stated before. If they think it's only a person here or there, they will most likely think it's on your end and maybe not troubleshoot the bigger issue at hand.

Yup,I let them know it wasn't just me & that many folks were reporting the same thing.And they told me I was the 1st reporting customer on this issue !

Yup, WWOR-HD and WPIX-HD are both offline - searching for signal - on all MPEG4 equipment.

The MPEG2 channel versions of 9 and 11 are working on the MPEG4 equipment, but the MPEG4 channel versions are out. I have to run back to work, so no chance to call in right now...
