Has anyone ever used their existing conduit ground to ground the AT9 dish and ground block? I have an application with the dish on a second story wall and the 4 cables running directly into the attic through the eave (2' from dish) to the quad grounding block (right inside cable entrance). I was thinking about running the ground wire from the block to a conduit clamp on existing conduit a few feet from that in the attic. Or would it be better to run the ground wire with the cables across the attic and down a piece of conduit into the basement and clamp it to the copper cold water piping (which is the main ground and the conduit system is bonded to it).
Any advice would be appreciated!
