I've only lost one recording in it's lifetime. I don't mind occasionally restarting the box, but I guess that's the only annoying thing. Other than that, I've had no problems with the box or D*. In fact, I just got a free HD receiver today from them for my living room.
you guys are scaring me away from D* HD
