Press the + sign next to the second entry from the bottom of the Display Preferences.

 

Thanks for the prompt reply but for whatever reason, the Wally does not have this option. In the Diagnostic screen, there is no "Whole Home" option. Maybe since the Wally is really designed as a single stand alone receiver, they omitted that option. The last option down on the screen is "Dish" #3.

The instructions were specifically for the Wally. Has your Wally been out of service for a while and in need of a firmware update?

 

Receiver is only 2 months old. Bought it new from Solid Signal. Looked like it was brand new when it came and was factory wrapped. Firmware is v0012. Software is current.

 

My Hopper w/Sling works as the Wally instructions describe so I'm baffled.

Do you have other receivers that share the same name or is this simply a cosmetic issue?

 

Strictly a cosmetic issue.

I still think that since the Wally is not designed for use as a host for a "Whole House" receiver, they omitted that feature. My two other receivers are VIP series (221K and a 222K).

I reason that if that were the case, they wouldn't offer instructions on how to do it.

Since it doesn't impact your use of the Wally, it doesn't much matter unless you're easily confused about what room you're in.
