They don't tell people they do not get all the programs with Max and Paramount plus only selected ones with dish. Examples are Yellowstone 1923 as well as the current HBO Max program hacks. Many other things you don't get

Nope. The original poster is correct. The DISH sub does not allow provider access to the Paramount+ streaming service. The original poster is also correct that the DISH sub does not include everything on the streaming Paramount+ app.

 

I see that in the FAQ. To wit:

Do I now have access to the Paramount+ app?

No, your Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscription through DISH does not grant you access to the Paramount+ app.

You will not be able to use your DISH credentials to sign in to the Paramount+ app, but you can stream your favorite SHOWTIME content and select Paramount+ originals with the DISH Anywhere app.

The use of the term "select" is a most rotten escape and DISH must be called out for it.

This is the same misleading game that the FAST versions of cable channels play.

(And yes, I do want to see that change so a subscription to Showtime is treated like a subscription to HBO and includes the streaming service.)
