Will this 1T WD HDD work with my 722K as an external storage divice

I have a spare 1T Western Digital HDD in an external enclosure that I would like to use with my 722K as an external storage device -- will it work? It appears to have both eSATA and USB 2.0 connections.

If it has a separate power supply(AC) then most likely yes. If its USB powered then no.

It does have a separate power supply so perhaps I will give it a try.

I have a 1.5 TB WD EHD and mine works fine. I used mine with my 722 and now with my 922 receiver. It will reformat if you used the EHD with a computer or different type receiver. Thanks.
